I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Sky Watch Friday - Sunset over the Turtle Mountains

What a treat to sleep on the desert.

This photo was taken during Fall of 2007 while camped on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) acreage just north of the Lake Havasu City airport, Arizona.

We are excited to sleep under the stars again, camped out in the desert, and blanketed by Nature.

Oh, and I just noticed that you lost your geogypsy companion, Carson. It's so hard to lose a canine friend. I hope you aren't too sad.

Oh WOW!! I can just imagine how beautiful it must be to sleep out under the stars there and wake up to these fantastic sunrises or to have a sundowner in the evenings. You make me envious. LOL!! A really gorgeous picture Gaelyn.

Lovely skyline with that gentle loght. I too love to sleep out in the desert, just do not appreciate the possibility of the world's deadliest snake sharing my sleeping bag!

Beautiful, I love the panorama. You are an inspiration for Bernie, I can tell when he has been looking at your blog, he comes out and asks me if we are hiking the Arizona trail, or that he is excited to visit the desert again. hehe. It will be very nice to enjoy what the desert has to offer, and a bit of sun!
