Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Hiking with a friend in Arizona

Have had company for the last two days, a fellow Ranger from my Oregon Caves days. We went for a hike up the Weaver Mountains just out my back door.

I was surprised to see fruit on the cactus, not quite ripe.

Our reward, a view into the valley below, with the feed lot.

Very Very Beautiful.

Stacey and I will probably be heading down to CA to visit my parents for a few weeks in the Bay Area and so that I can also take some more photos of the birds and wildlife I love. But seeing all of these blogs with beautiful desert scenery, we are also thinking of driving into Arizona, and the Four Corners Region too.

Thanks for the Inspiration.

Thanks for your visit! Your country is far more interesting than my watery country Holland. The spider was taken in Australia, however.

Prickly Pear, they are quite delicious if you are hungry and have thick leather gloves! At a pinch you can survive on them for a while since they are full of moisture.
Nice post, and great country to enjoy.

BTW I keep on meaning to tell you that it is not often that I find people have read Atlas Shrugged, let alone list it as one of there favorites. I read it at least once a year and enjoy it every time.

Came because of Skywatch, but like these better. Like the cactus and the last photo.
