Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Cold & Old

Have a cold front hanging around. Last night I think it snowed just a little. Only tiny patches left in the shade this morning when I got up at 22°F.

Carson is feeling both the cold and age. He’s 80 in dog years. His arthritis causes much difficulty getting around and the steps into the RV where just too much for him yesterday. I struggled lifting his unhappy 80 lbs through the door.

Handicap dog ramp

So this morning I rigged up a handicap ramp. Carson’s first try on it required much coaxing, pushing and a doggie treat bribe. The second attempt only slightly better. Poor guy.

Tomorrow, a trip to PetCo for some meds.

Sorry to hear about your dog Carson. We have a dog named Dotty here with arthritis and we often have to pick her up off of the ground too.
