Never a dull moment

Last night while running water in the kitchen sink I started to notice an unusual blurgley noise.

Early this morning I noticed a wet spot on the living room carpet after Carson had been washing his feet. He likes to keep up appearances.

Later I noticed the wet spot on the carpet had grown. Hmmmm.

Then I went to make lunch and when I reached into the cupboard under the sink for a pan, yuck.
The elbow under the sink was apart and the ucky gray water gunk had soaked the wood, filled some pans, run onto the floor below and the carpet. Took all afternoon to repair the elbow and clean up the mess. Obviously I’m not parked very level.

And all I really wanted to be doing was to finish making this necklace.

I just hate it when ANYTHING gets in between me and my crafts, especially when I am in that creative zone. Like when Jim starts barking for dinner when I am in the middle of something important like sewing.

Love the necklace, by the way.

Our sink sprung a leak, also, so I called our son (the mechanical genius, like my dad!) and he fixed it! And, yes, our wood was wet, too. YUCK!
