I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SWF-All in a day

01 Clouds over the Weaver Mts from Iron Springs Rd S AZ (1024x747)

The end of January, I was returning home from Grand Canyon, and when I drive alone I take lots of photos. There’s always a good bit of sky.

098 (768x1024)

Upon getting home and unpacking I noticed this sundog out my back window.

104 (1024x768)

About an hour later these puffballs caught my eye.

121a pano (1024x558)

Then changed to this backbone.

129 (1024x768)

Slowly drifted apart.

140a pano (1024x475)

Changed color.

145a pano (1024x443)

And said goodnight.

Love this series for Skywatch, Gaelyn. That sundog is cool - I've only seen one once. Hoping life is good in your neck of the woods.

That first sky is amazing, just never ending. What you convey on these is space and freedom. Room to breathe.

I love the puffball clouds. They also look interesting, specially in the late afternoons.

Beautiful skies!

While the 35 degrees we had today felt pretty good, and the forecast is for temps in the 20s all week, I know spring is a long ways away--sometime in April.....

Beautiful. When I travel alone I take twice as long as when Grant and I go together; I stop that many times to take photos! Now I know what you've mean about your Internet dropping you. I hope this comment uploads! Have a great weekend, Gaelyng. Hugs Jo

Oh, such beautiful skies. That's about what ours looked like this morning but I didn't grab my camera. I'll probably regret that next Thursday.

What a beautiful variety! You might like to get yourself a copy of this cloud book like I have.

It must be great to just meander home at your own pace. All these are so different. I love the poofy ones.

Great idea for a post Gaelyn! It's so nice to be out west where you can practically see they whole sky at once! Here in the east coast I only get little patches of sky unless I am up on a cliff or out over open water.
