I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

It has been such a wonderful time! Thank you for "teaching" me to slow down and smell the roses! All the beauty I've seen pales in comparison to the beauty I see in you!

Hi Gaelyn,

I have to apologize for taking so long to visit your blog... I brought home a little souvenir virus from the Canyon that hasn't made catching up on life very easy!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed meeting you during my residency, how many North Rim memories your fabulous photos bring to me, how much I appreciated your kind friendliness while I was there & when we were at the condor release. You are a special person & I am looking forward to reading about your next adventures, & seeing you again in the future. Safe journeys to you, wherever it is that your wheelstate is taking you next!

A fantastic look back at your summer and such gorgeous photos! I'm so very happy that you and Mike "found" one another and that you're enjoying life together. And to be able to work in such a breathtakingly beautiful area! Thanks for sharing it all with us! Hope you both have a great "rest of the year" together! Enjoy!

That's quite a summer! I'm jealous, I spent my summer working in front of a computer. I did take one week off to visit Yellowstone with my family.

Anything I say would not be adequate to express how I feel about this post, about the Grand Canyon, about the astounding beauty of nature. Such a strong, indefinable emotion wells up inside....
I can express only that I am grateful that you posted this beautiful tribute.

It seems like you just arrived at the Canyon. The summer has went by so fast! Your collages are gorgeous, and your reflection on your summer is beautiful. Great post. I'm looking forward to reading about your winter adventures.

This was indeed a wonderful summer at the Canyon and I am grateful that you let us join you. Your skill coupled with wonderful clear and stormy skies made each shot a thrill. I look forward to your future adventures and seeing the joy that you and Mike share in experiencing them together.

Hi Gaelyn;) I can't believe your time at the Canyon is over. Time sure does fly. Thanks for the reflections I remember most of them. I love Mike's comment. This is my last visit from North Africa (sad!) I'll be back online in SA in about two days' time. Blessings and hugs Jo

It may not be a best seller book, but its a very popular blog with many dedicated followers, including myself. Yours are one of my 3 favorite blogs. You show me so much natural beauty that I am always curious about what will follow next. Looking back at the season I must also say it flew by. So many interesting things done and seen. And best of all, this year you got to share it with Mike. Looking forward to next season, but surious to see what happens between now and then.

It was a good year but it went by too quickly. Because of your blog, I visited the Grand Canyon last October, although I was not fortunate enough to meet you.

Amazing fabulous wonderful post Gaelyn~ I've enjoyed reading your ongoing biography for a while now (don't get to every post b/c sometimes life interferes with blogging) but it is always fun to follow your journey .

Safe travels when you leave the beautiful canyon!!!!
