Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

My Memories Suite giveaway

I didn’t really think of myself as a scrapbooker, but do like to play around with images, make my own newsletters, greeting cards and calendars, digitally. Can’t quite see myself with scissors and paper cutting out little shapes to glue on top of each other with a photo or two. Yet cut and past on the computer only requires a few clicks and doesn’t leave a mess to vacuum up later.
045 (767x1024)
MyMemories offered a free copy of their MyMemories Suite Scrapbook software to me and one of my followers. You can sign up to win this by going to the site and leaving a comment about a design you like. In one week a random winner will be drawn and notified. (Please leave a way for me to contact you.)

Plus they provided a Share the Memories code (STMMMS33722) that provides a $10 discount off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software, if you don’t win, and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store - $20 value!

You can either use their designer templates or create your own.

My Memories also has a blog you can follow for great ideas and sharing your creative results.
01 January calendar page
I haven’t had much time to play with the software but the first thing I created was this with a handy calendar insert.
02 Valentine
My Valentine card started off with a paper background called Templar Black and White. Then I added the heart shapes and chose a color, or two. And added text. In the process of learning I explored the “control panel” and played with hearts, flourishes and a dragonfly from imprints.

I’ll be playing around more with this digital scrapbooking software and encourage you to try it too. Please enter to win your own free copy of MyMemories Suite software and get started scrapbooking, without all the paper mess.

I tried the scissors and paper way and it was messy and I had lots of leftover paper and stickers in boxes. This would be a neat way to make a journal of travels.

It is a pretty cool program, however I won't enter to win... Don't want folks thinking it's rigged :)
And, YES, I will be YOUR valintine! :)

I like that you can work on your stuff, then set it aside if needed without having to pick up everything.

The "I love cupcakes" design is so cute, as I love to bake. I'm considering switching over to digital scrap-booking, as I never seem to find the time to do the paper kind.

I love the fantasy kits - Breaking Love, Bryans Bots, and the Dark Side.

There are tons of really great kits and their free kits look great as well.
