I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Quail Cotillion

The Gambel’s Quail bobbles about, usually seven here at my house. They love when the Scrub Jay alights on the feeder and shovels the seed to the ground in search of sunflower seeds.

We don't see Quail any more now that we live in Coastal BC. Thanks for sharing some warm moments. - Margy

They are so cute. We have some almost exactly like them here.

One bird's crumbs is another bird's feast I guess. :-)

I love watching Quail running back and forth. They have such an interesting little community. I don't get to see Gambel's too often.

How nice that quail are visiting you. They're common in my area, but they don't usually come to my yard much until the warmer months. I love the funny noises they make.
